Happy to know that BARRIGA DA BALEIA (BELLY OF THE WHALE) is a White Raven 2015.

Each year some language specialists at the International Youth Library  in Germany, select newly published books from around the world that they consider to be especially noteworthy. This list of books is compiled into the annual White Ravens Catalogue, which is introduced each year at the Bologna Children’s Book Fair. The White Raven label is given to books that deserve worldwide attention because of their universal themes and/or their exceptional and often innovative artistic and literary style and design.

a MARIA AUGUSTA RAMOS (cineasta-documentarista), desafiou-me para fazer o desenho do cartaz do seu sétimo filme. Uma radiografia da realidade social e política brasileira. Com uma câmera clínica e direta ela segue André (analista financeiro), Alex (metroviário), Anderson (metalúrgico) e Alex (motoboy): quatro homens no dia a dia particular de cada um, semanas antes da abertura da Copa do Mundo de 2014.

MARIA AUGUSTA RAMOS (a documentary film-maker) challenged me to draw a poster for her seventh film. A portray of the Brazilian social and political reality.  With a clinical and direct camera  she follows André, a financial analyst; Alex, a subway employee; Anderson, a car factory worker; and Alex, a motorcycle courier, on their daily routine weeks before the opening of the World Cup 2014.
